The second you can casually step aside from all known weird and not-so-weird verbal attacks, to “take yourself out of it,” the door opens. And once you master that, you can adopt a Vow of Silence if you're in the mood. You actually don't have to prove anything.

 

I stayed with my teacher, David Daniels (Poet), until fifteen minutes before he died, and he taught me how to breathe when you have fifteen minutes to live.
